My First Harley Davidson Bike

A few months ago, I decided to purchase my first American motorcycle from Harley Davidson, which is a black 2008 Night Train. To be honest with you, owning a Harley was one of my dream bikes that I have always wanted to own but was unable to obtain one for the longest time. Reading information on the net and watching your typical network show about bike builders and reruns of “American Chopper” became the catalyst for me to purchase my HD bike. So here is a picture of my bad boy bike at the dealership showroom.

When I first decided to buy the bike, to be honest I did not realize that this was going to be a hard task. At first, I wanted to purchase a simple Black Nightster, but once I was in the showroom, I felt like a little kid in a candy store unable to make a decision. Because of this, it took me about a few months to really decide what bike I really wanted. So, if you ever decide to really pick up a Harley. I have a few simple suggestions to consider:

1. What type of riding style are you looking for?
2. Will you be a short or long distance rider?
3. Will be you planning to customize your bike? if so, what type of look are you going for?
4. How long do you plan to keep your bike?

Also as a simple reminder and a major key component when purchasing a bike. Don’t ever forget to purchase the right proper gears. Look good and ride safe, because it just makes cents.
